If you wish to conduct research under the supervision of Dominique Chen in a master's or doctoral program, please review the information below and then contact me in advance. Applying to the entrance examination without prior contact makes it difficult for me to accept you.
- Please send an email stating whether you wish to pursue research at the master's or doctoral level.
- Please explain why you want to conduct research in Dominique Chen's laboratory, citing specific examples of research, books, or papers.
- In the same email, please include cloud storage links to the following documents.
- A PDF of your research proposal. In the research proposal, please describe the RQ you wish to pursue in your master's or doctoral research, your personal motivation and background for wanting to research it, your survey of prior research, and your research methodology and plan. Please also be sure to include a list of cited references at the end. Please keep the entire file to no fewer than 3 and no more than 5 pages.
- A brief CV, in any format. Please tell me about your major and research at high school and undergraduate level, as well as any other activities relevant to graduate research.
- I will reply after reviewing the email above. First, we will arrange an online meeting where I will introduce myself and give feedback on your research proposal.
- If I judge it necessary, I will ask you to revise your research proposal again.
