Together with colleagues, Dominique was recently awarded a 4.5-year grant from JST RISTEX under its newly established program, “Social Systems Where Care is Rooted” (PI: Takeshi Nakajima, Science Tokyo).

Within this framework, Dominique will lead an interdisciplinary design research team to implement systems for receiving care from nonhuman actors—including the deceased—across multiple fields throughout Japan.

The project will run until March 2031.
